In this depression is triggered when a there is a any social reason or problems in relationship. Here social means any problem related to society or job or any work. I personally feel that social reasons are actually part of psychological reason.

  • Loss of interest in everything which makes you happy or your hobby or work.
  • Lack of motivation and energy.
  • Loss of appetite or overeating

All these signs are some common signs which show depression when the signs continue for a long period of time (around 2-3 weeks).

It is not possible for a depressed person to overcome depression on its own. So to overcome depression:

For a depressed person a healthy lifestyle must be a compulsion. He/she should eat healthy food, do yoga and meditation, try to fight with negative thoughts, take more sleep, engage with friends and family, take a walk, laugh and talk.

Healthy lifestyle gives transforms negative energy into positive energy.

There are also many centers which provide a healthy lifestyle. A depressed person must join that center for a period of time before going to any medication or therapy.

Therapies are mainly for psychological depression. In this a person goes to a psychiatrist or counselor for his treatment. Although medications are required, many psychological cases are solved by the specialists. They hear your problems and try to solve them. They sympathize with you and motivate you.

Medication:

It is mostly given for biological depression. Antidepressants are commonly given to the person suffering. Therapies are still required. Medication basically raises the level of hormones for pleasure and interest such as dopamine. Excess eating of medicines can either cause oversleeping or overexcited state.

Sadness is depression:

It is the most common myth in a person's head. People take sadness or low mood as depression. Although it can also be a reason for depression, it is so when continued for a long time. Depression occurs due to other reasons also leaving sadness.

Depression is always psychological:

It is also a widespread myth that depression is always psychological. As I have already mentioned the reasons above, in that a big reason is physical reason also.

How To Prevent Yourself From Depression?

If you want to prevent yourself from depression be happy and just enjoy your moments. Never see things on your past experiences or get angry unnecessarily.

If you do meditation then depression will probably not effect you. Engage yourself with friends and family. Try to be in an open environment. Feel free from any thoughts. 

These suggestions may be helpful to prevent you from depression. Do not fear from depression. More are the fears more is the chance to be depressed or to trigger any phobia. 

Health is very important so try to exercise minimum for 15 minuntes daily. Your body health has a direct impact on your mental health. Eat healthy food and try to avoid packaged foods. 

Sleep is an important factor. A comfortable and deep sleep reduces the risk of depression. Try taking deep breaths while sleeping which will enhance the depth of sleep.
